Call for Abstracts

Deadline: November 3, 2024

The Harare International Transport Conference invites abstracts for original research papers on the following themes:

• Application of ICT, blockchain, and GIS in transportation
• Smart city applications for efficient transport systems
• Sustainable and green transport solutions
• Mass transport solutions for urban areas to combat ‘mushika-shika‘
• Tourism transportation and logistics
• Public transport and freight transportation

Abstract Guidelines:

• Abstracts should be concise and clearly outline the research question, methodology, findings, and conclusions.
• Word limit: 300
• Format: /Word

Submission Process:

• Please submit your manuscripts using the email research@lingua.co.zw

Presentation Methods

Accepted abstracts will be invited for full paper submissions, which will undergo a peer-review process. Accepted papers will be presented in the following formats:

• Oral Presentations: Selected authors will have the opportunity to deliver a 20-minute presentation followed by a Q&A session.
• Poster Presentations: Authors can present their research findings in a visual format on a poster board.
• E-Posters: For authors unable to attend the conference, e-posters can be submitted for online display.

Selection Criteria:

• Relevance to conference themes
• Originality and contribution to the field
• Quality of research methodology and findings
• Clarity and effectiveness of abstract
